Has a more frequent release cycle, but doesn't need to be as fast Chromium itself, just less slow than Comodo Dragon.Lets me use a bookmarks menu like Firefox does.Isn't loaded up with additional features that I won't use (like Opera and Vivaldi).Extension support, either directly through the store or downloaded and manually installed.Tried Ungoogled Chromium, but it crashed every time I tried to launch it whereas regular Chromium was fine. Won't use Chrome or Edge, so need suggestions for decent Chromium-based browsers. Currently using Comodo Dragon, but I've read that it isn't the best choice due to its slow release cycle, which seems to be a new release every few months, and some have said it uses older Chromium code that isn't 100% secure (the browser itself claims it's based on Chromium v106, but the Woolyss site reports it's using v99's codebase). Chromium-based browsers don't have this issue for whatever reason, so I need to switch to one. Every one I try turns into a laggy mess after a few weeks of use now, no idea what causes it, and nobody can help me. None of that helped me.Can't use Mozilla-based browsers anymore, much to my dismay. In their cases it helped to either switch off hardware acceleration in the browser or playing with the flags. I've googled extensively and found people running into similar issues but not quite the same as this one. I'm not sure if the problem is with the GPU though. I have a 3060ti running with the latest drivers. The glitch is mostly static but now and then it'll start flickering as you're moving the mouse. I clean installed Chromium though, and it has the same issue. My first thought was it's one of the extensions causing it. I couldn't detect any sort of pattern but it seems like it's some kind of afterimage. The glitch happens 100% of the time as soon as you start going from page to page. So the glitch only happens underneath the bookmark toolbar area. I've recently switched to Debian 11 and everything's going well so far except I have this weird glitch in every Chromium based browser I've tried, including Chromium itself.
